I think this performance shows the difference between Fletcher and Zimbabwe team. This is the 3rd match in Cricket World Cup 1983. Duncan performance stuns feeble Australian team. In this match, all Zimbabwe player make debut in International cricket. Australian team won the toss and they elected to ball first.

He comes to bat number 6 and played brilliant knock for his team. Duncan scored 69 runs in 84 balls with help of 5 fours. After Duncan inning, Zimbabwe was able to make 239 runs on 6 wickets. This considers an easy target for the Australian team against Zimbabwe bowling attack. The same thing happen When Australian opener came to bat. They gave a solid start to their team but Fletcher took his wicket and gave a breakthrough to the team. After that Zimbabwe fight back and Fletcher took 4 wickets and they restrict Australian team to 226. Duncan Fletcher got man of the match award for his all-around performance.

2. Yuvraj Singh 5-31 and 50 vs Ireland in Cricket World Cup 2011

There may be debate over this selection but I will go with this because India struggles at the start of the inning. Indian team loses his two wickets on 24 runs Which give pressure on middle order. In this match, Yuvraj Singh creates history to take 5 wickets and score 50 runs in a single match of the cricket world cup. Yuvraj done brillent performance in both field.

Indian team wins the toss and they decided to field first. Zaheer Khan got an early wicket but there is having partnerships in the middle order but Yuvraj break this partnership and restrict Ireland on the low total. He got Man of the match award for his all-around performance that he has done in the match.

3. Mohinder Amarnath 3-12 and 26 vs West indies in Cricket World Cup 1983

This is one of the greatest performance by any Indian batsman at that time. His bowling helps India to win the cricket world cup. West Indies were a champion side at that time. Indian team bat first and their opener fails then Amarnath comes at number 3 and played a good inning of 26 runs. Indian team just able to score 183 runs and all of us start thinking that West Indies will win cricket world cup 2019.

But Indian team, make comeback in bowling and restrict West Indies to 140 runs. Amarnath got 3 wickets in his 7 over and help India got their lower order batsman. He concedes only 12 runs in his spell.

4. Aravinda de Silva 3-42 and 107* vs Australia in World Cup 1996

This is one of the master class innings in the history of the cricket world cup. This performance helps the Sri Lankan team to win their first cricket world cup.

Sri Lankan team won the toss and they decided to field first but this was not an easy decision because it is not easy to chase in finals. Australian team scored 24 runs which were not easy on the final match.

Sri Lankan opener fails to give start they lose their 2 wickets on just 23 runs which build a lot of pressure on middle order but Silva comes at number 4 and scored a brilliant hundred. this inning helped Sri lanka to win there first cricket world cup.

Australian team won the toss and they decided to field first and Gilmour starts to fire in bowling he just destroys English batting lineup. England team was able to make only 93 runs.

But these seems to good when Australian batsman fails and loose their 6 wicket on just 39 runs. Then Gilmour comes and palyed a solid inning. He scored 28 runs in just 28 bowll.
